Feedback from you all...

Hi All

Would just like some feedback/ideas on some ideas we came up with ourselves

1. Day trip to Thorpe Park
2. Day trip/over night to Brighton
3. A 'team building' event which split in groups will lead us to a pub restaurant.
4. Trip to Queens/Wimbledon
5. A few inter club and open tournaments...

Any others suggestions welcome! x

ALSO:

2 dates for your diaries

1. 21/2/10 - refresher trial day during the social tennis hours, would be good to have some team members there to chat and play with potential new members
2. 7/3/10 - an open tournament which the club will run for ANYONE to play in will be from 12-5 on that Sunday at Stoke Park (doubles comp)

As we discussed this after sunday's training all the committee girls know exactly what I think to these ideas! But to let everyone else know... these ideas could potentially be proper sweet...
If we did go to Brighton we can do it any time, summer most definitely! Its mi local city! - Beautiful Seaside... plenty of decent clubs just on the pier, loads of pubs and good for shopping!
Some of the 2nd team did talk about going to Portsmouth and making a night out of it after our match, but that can't technically work as the next social is on the same day! I know there is plenty to do there! And I guess Matt is the man to talk to as he is from there if do consider Portsmouth as an option.
Wimbledon will also be F***ING awesome - and I reckon quite easy to organise but it just depends when everyone goes home after their exams!
Anyway I have wrote S**T loads on this message, so I'll stop now!
Would be great to hear from people about this, as then we can organise what everyone wants to do!

all for Brighton, anything that involves a pub sounds good to me, Wimbledon is a top day out! all sound like good ideas

Yeah all the ideas sound gd to me, especially the trips to wimbledon/queens. Nice one!
